Dyesol was born global. Since founding on the back of an Australian-Swiss research collaboration, Dyesol has had a collaborative and global outlook and business model. This global and collaborative approach continues today and our business and research operations reflect this.

Dyesol's headquarters, major DSC and ssDSC materials laboratory, world-first materials upscale facility, and product development and manufacturing operations are located in Queanbeyan, New South Wales, Australia - just outside Australia's capital city, Canberra.
Dyesol manufactures a range of DSC and ssDSC chemicals and components - including specialty dyes, pastes, electrolytes and perovskites - from our Australian headquarters for export to the international DSC research community and international manufacturing partners seeking to embed DSC or ssDSC clean energy generating technology onto their existing products.

Major DSC Commercialisation Projects
In the value chain, Dyesol is a materials and technology supplier. Dyesol partners with leading multinational companies who possess significant market share and established routes-to-market. Our partners seek to value-add clean, green energy generation capability by fully integrating Dyesol's DSC or ssDSC photovoltaic technology onto their products at the manufacturing stage.
Dyesol has collaborative product development approach and has worked with key multinational partners, including Tata Steel Europe (collaboration based in Wales), Pilkington North America (collaboration based in Ohio, USA), and Timo Technologies (collaboration based in South Korea). These partnerships progressed the scale-up of Dye Solar Cell technology onto steel roofing material, glass building facade, and windows and other glass-based products respectively.
International Collaboration for DSC Research & Mass Up-scaling
Our international collaborations also support the Company's research and development work. Dyesol conducts collaborative R&D activities in a number of different countries on the full spectrum of DSC and ssDSC focus areas.
Existing international research collaborations are underway with Australia's Commonwealth Scientific and Industrial Research Organisation (CSIRO), the University of Queensland, Japan's National Institute for Material Science, the University of Oxford, the University of Cambridge, and the École Polytechnique Fédérale de Lausanne among many others.
Dyesol's Australian based manufacturing facility, with a capacity to produce the highest quality DSC nano-chemistry sufficient to manufacture 200,000 square metres of DSC product per annum, is the first significant step towards industrial scale mass commercialisation of DSC power. To enable expanded production to even higher levels, we form alliances with world leading materials companies, such as Merck, for high volume contract manufacture and collaborative development of next generation DSC materials.

Dyesol also works with a network of international sales agents for the sale and promotion of our specialty DSC chemicals, components, equipment and expert training to scientists, researchers, and industrialists around the world.
